Warheads

Warheads is an American candy brand of sour or tart candy made by Impact Confections, based in Janesville, Wisconsin. They are marketed as 'extreme' American confectionery with an intense sour taste. Warheads Candy have proven very popular, especially with young children; In 1999 the Warheads were referred to as a "$ 40 million dollar" (USD) mark. This fruit gum and hard candy was invented in Taiwan in 1975 and first imported into the United States in 1993 by The Foreign Candy Company of Hull, Iowa. In 2004 Impact Confections took over the brand. Warheads are now available in many different variations and can be found on almost every American candy shelf. Young and old, everyone loves that tingling in their mouths when they try these fruit gums.
